Day 132 - Monday - 28/9/2026
Today we went on some walks at Cania Gorge, the first of which being a short 1.8km walk to the two-storey cave. We first walked into the King Orchid Chasm where there were a bunch of orchids growing on the wall except, they were looking a bit sad because the area was practically in drought. Soon after we reached the two-storey cave which we went inside and then we climbed up to the second storey and saw some bats and also a had a good view.

Then we went on a walk through the gorge where we headed to the dripping rock where some water was seeping through the rocks and falling off some moss.

After that we kept walking to the overhang which was a massive spectacular overhang in the wall of the gorge.
| The overhang |
The gorge itself was about half the size of Carnarvon Gorge with large cliffs and lots of trees. After having a break, we walked back through the gorge until we turned left to go to two caves and a lookout. The first cave was dragon cave which had black markings on the Sandstone looking a bit like a dragon.
