Day 93/94 - The waterfall circuit/Mount Hipipamee
Day 93 - Thursday - 20/8/2026
Today we drove around to 4 different waterfalls (while it was raining) that were all pretty impressive. The first one was Milla Milla Falls which was probably the most picturesque waterfall of the four, if you were going to draw a waterfall it would probably look a lot like Milla Milla Falls.

After Milla Milla we drove to Zillie Falls which was a taller waterfall then Milla Milla but a bit less impressive.
Zillie Falls
Zillie Falls also took a lot more concentration to get to it because even though it was a pretty short walk on the dirt to the falls it was raining and water plus dirt means mud which means slipperiness which resulted in my shoe becoming covered in mud and Seb having a fall. Next, we drove to Ellinjaa Falls which was another waterfall looking pretty similar to the others.

After that we drove to Malanda where we had lunch and it finally stopped raining, so we decided to go to Malanda Falls.
Me next to Maland Falls
Malanda Falls looked a lot like the other waterfalls, but we also saw a Tree Kangaroo there and got to go on a short 1km walk where there was a lookout and we saw about 15 turtles.

Day 94 - Friday - 21/8/2026
This morning we drove to Mount Hipipamee where we went on a walk to The Crater and Diner Falls. First, we walked to the Crater where we looked at this huge crater formed by volcanic activity that went about 50 metres down where it hits water and keeps going down for about another 70 metres.

After that we walked to Diner falls but it was kind of hard to tell which waterfall Diner was Falls because there where pretty much 3 of them.
Dinner Falls (maybe)
Then we drove back home and Me and Dad went on a walk around Lake Eacham where we saw a Cassowary, Wompoo Fruit-dove, Eastern Whipbird and another Musky Rat-kangaroo.
